These porcelain kitchen floor tiles in Kilmacolm, Renfrewshire had no issues. They were 12 years old and in very good condition. The only problem was that the grout had discoloured and no matter what was used to clean the grout the staining remained. This is a situation that is very common and many people don’t realise that you can repair, clean and re-colour your grout either with the same colour or change the look of your tiles and room by changing the colour of your grout.
The grout was originally white and after a deep clean of the grout and using a mid grey epoxy grout colouring the look of the floor was transformed, at a fraction of the cost of changing the floor tiles. The grout colouring used not only gave the flooring a refresh but the colouring solution used acts as a sealant against soiling and is also water repellent.
